Account Payable Executive (Mandarin Speaker)

               Job Scope

• Perform day-to-day finance operations like General Ledger, Bank Reconciliation and Account Payable functions.
• Monitor, control and resolve creditors' ledger in any outstanding payables and inherited problems on due outstanding.
• Prepare payment vouchers, petty cash vouchers, and accounts payable & maintain copies of payment vouchers, invoices, correspondences, and other financial documents.
• Ensure proper filing of all documents and ensure they are accurately prepared on a timely basis and adhere to accounting standards.
• To liaise with external auditor, tax consultant and appointed financial consultant.
• Collaboration with internal cross-functions personnel to resolve issues and discrepancies.
• Submission of monthly / weekly accounting reports, accounts analysis like debtor ageing report, cash flow analysis variance report etc.
• Perform any ad-hoc tasks and responsibilities that the superior may assign from time to time

Requirements

• Possess Languages - English, Bahasa Malaysia & Mandarin (Candidates fluent in Mandarin preferred as role requires candidate to deal with Mandarin-speaking suppliers.)
• Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree Accountancy or equivalent.
• Able to work independently, committed and meet deadlines.
• Positive working attitude and strong sense of responsibility.
• Good personality and positive working attitudes, responsible, self-discipline and dedicate to work.
• Good communication skills.
• Preferably candidates who are able to start immediately or within short notice.
• Working hour: Monday-Friday (8:00am-5.00pm)
• Candidates must be willing to work at Laksamana Cheng Ho, Melaka.
