Safety and Health Officer

Working Hour : 8.30 AM – 6.00 PM

Responsibilities:

• In-charge of overall occupational safety and health activities.
• Develop and continue implementation of Safety, Health, and Environmental programs,
• policies and procedures.
• Review existing policies measures and update according to legislation.
• Work as Secretary of SHE Committee and assist Chairman in the implementation of a safe and healthy workplace.
• Conduct risk assessment and enforce preventive measures.
• Inspect factory premises, dormitories and check on working personnel to identify any non-conformity.
• Recommend practical and cost- effective solutions in security and safety management.
• Provide and initiate SHE trainings to ensure all employees are fully aware and adequately trained according to legislation requirements.
• Investigate, analyze and make rectifications recommendations for all incidents, near misses, etc. and maintain a statistic of the incidents.

Requirements

• Certificate in Safety and Health Officer issued by NIOSH, Green Book.
• Competent Safety and Health Officer with minimum three years' working experience in
• manufacturing field.
• In-depth knowledge of legislation and procedures.
• Experience in report writing and policies for health and safety.
• Familiar in conducting data analysis and reporting statistics.
• Independent, delicate and possess good leadership, analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to plan, implement and monitor safety program, policies, and procedures.
• Computer literate.
